Role overview

You will work with GreenEnco's pvAPM team to analyse operational data from solar assets, investigate performance issues and communicate practical findings to clients and engineering colleagues.

This role suits an analytical problem-solver who can move confidently between detailed datasets and clear, decision-ready reporting.

Key responsibilities

Analyse monitoring and operational data from solar PV assets.
Identify performance losses, anomalies and emerging technical issues.
Support diagnostic, predictive and portfolio-benchmarking studies.
Prepare clear reports, visualisations and client-ready recommendations.
Work with engineers and asset-management teams to validate findings.
Improve data-quality checks and repeatable analysis workflows.

Skills and experience

Essential

What you'll bring

✓A degree or equivalent experience in engineering, data science, mathematics or another relevant discipline.
✓Experience analysing complex datasets and explaining the results clearly.
✓Strong spreadsheet skills and confidence working with data-analysis tools.
✓Careful attention to detail and a structured approach to problem-solving.
✓Clear written and verbal communication skills.
✓The right to work in the United Kingdom.

Desirable

Additional experience

✓Experience with solar PV monitoring, SCADA or asset-management data.
✓Knowledge of Python, SQL or business-intelligence tools.
✓An understanding of solar-energy yield and performance metrics.
